Mediterrani uses Aloe Vera juice in place of a significant portion of the water base — not as a trace addition. Aloe Vera is one of the most well-documented soothing and hydrating botanicals in skincare, rich in polysaccharides that help maintain moisture in the skin during and after cleansing. Its presence in a soap base is meaningful — it actively works against the drying effect that most surfactant systems produce, leaving skin feeling soft and balanced rather than stripped after washing.

EMPTY AND RINSE YOUR BOTTLE

Before refilling, make sure your Mediterrani bottle is empty or nearly empty. Give it a quick rinse with warm water to remove any residue from the previous fill. Allow it to drain for a moment before refilling. This is the step that most people skip and the one that makes the most difference to the quality of the refill.

POUR AND REFILL

Open the refill bag and pour the contents directly into your Mediterrani bottle. The flexible bag makes it easy to control the flow — squeeze gently from the bottom to empty fully. A funnel is not necessary but can help if you want to avoid any spillage. Once transferred, close your bottle securely. The formula is the same consistency as the original, so it will fill and dispense identically.

RINSE THE BAG AND RECYCLE

Once empty, rinse the refill bag with water, allow it to dry and recycle according to your local guidelines for flexible plastic packaging. The refill bag uses significantly less material than a rigid bottle — by refilling rather than replacing, you are extending the life of your original bottle and reducing the total plastic used per wash. A small habit with a compounding impact over time.

One refill bag contains 5 standard Mediterrani bottles once complete. We recommend keeping your original bottle and refilling it each time rather than buying a new bottle — this is the most effective way to reduce packaging waste over time and also the most cost-efficient option per use.
